International Student Transfer Process
This is the general process to study at Harvest Seminary
in the USA:
1. Apply as a student (provide personal information, background, take tests,
phone interview).
2. After acceptance you will have to find a U.S. Citizen to be your affidavit
or provide proof showing financial ability to study here in U.S.A (minimum
$10,000 US required by the government).
3. Harvest Seminary will then issue you an I-20 through SEVIS.
4. Make appointment with U.S. Consulate in your country to obtain a M-1 VISA.
We take transfer students seriously, correspond with the U.S. Immigration
Department regularly, and keep them updated of our international students.

How to begin the 1-20/I-17 process?
First apply to Harvest Seminary and be accepted.
Then, to electronically file a petition, the petitioning school must access
SEVIS on the Internet and provide the following information: the school's
name; the first, middle, and last name of the contact person for the school;
and the email address of the contact person.
Requirements: Student must: be accepted by Harvest Seminary as a
student, be able to comprehend, read and write Chinese (classes are in
Mandarin), stay enrolled as a full-time student, maintain a 3.0 GPA, pay all
registration fees, and abide by all the rules set by SEVIS (student exchange
visitor information system). Any violations to Harvest Seminary's requirement
or rules outlined by SEVIS will be immediately reported to the immigration
deparment.

Applying for a M-1 - 申請 M-1
In order to apply for a visa at a U.S. embassy or
consulate, you must first have a SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor
Information System)-generated document (I-20) issued by Harvest Seminary. You
will be required to submit this form when you apply for a visa. Harvest
Seminary will provide you with the appropriate SEVIS-generated form only when
you have been academically admitted to the institution or accepted as a
participant in an exchange program. Harvest Seminary will send you additional
information about applying for the appropriate visa, as well as other guidance
about beginning your academic program in the United States. However, aquiring
an M-1 Visa does not guarantee entry into the U.S.
Once you have all the documentation that is required, you may apply for the
visa, even if you do not intend to begin your program of study for several
months. It is best to apply early for the visa to make sure that there is
sufficient time for visa processing.
為了使你能到美國領使館或辦事處申請簽證，你需要有豐收神學院所簽發給你的
I-20。在豐收神學院接受你的申請之後，我們會提供你適當的表格和所有你所需要的資料去申請適當的簽證。同時我們會引導你一步一步的進入美國的學術環境。然而，取得
I-20 並不保證你就可以順利的進入美國。
在你備齊了一切所需的文件之後，就可以去申請簽證。申請簽證需要有一段時間，我們建議你一定要提早申請，並確定有充足的時間去完成一切的程序，即使你並不打算及刻就學或是距離你就學的時間尚有數個月的時間。
